Our mission is to celebrate the greatness of God, connect to one another and commit to God’s mission (below is a short explanation of each piece). Because this is our mission statement, we want to emphasize three environments for people to plug into:

1. worship (celebrate),

2. small groups (connect),

3. and ministry (commit).

Celebrate

Expressing our love to God in worship

God is so big and wonderful; therefore, we gather each week to celebrate His greatness, to learn more about Him, and to better understand His design for our lives.

The worship message is very similar and focuses on how we can apply the Bible to our daily lives.

Connect

Enjoying community through small groups

Relationships are so important to us at Oak Grove. We believe that everyone needs a place where they can enjoy community with others.  Therefore, we have groups for all ages at Oak Grove. Some of these groups meet on Sunday mornings and others meet during the week. These groups study the Bible, pray for each other, serve together, and enjoy hanging out together.

Commit

Engaging the world with God’s love

Each person is uniquely shaped to serve God and others. We all have various gifts, abilities and passions.

So we have many ministry opportunities at Oak Grove for people to plug into. There are ministries for all ages (preschool, children, youth, college, adults, and senior adults) and ministry opportunities for everyone.

Oak Grove provides many ways to serve the community:

• Mission trips (domestic and abroad)

• Visiting the elderly

• Community events such as our Easter Block Party, Fallapalooza and The Living Christmas Tree

• And in many other ways!
